Viva La Bands: Gwar, Cradle of Filth, CKY and Vains of Jenna.

Rahhhhhhh! Sorry, had to get in character. This Sunday, Sept. 30 Gwar, Cradle of Filth, CKY and Vains of Jenna (phew that's a mouthful) are playing at Club Revolution in Fort Lauderale. Rockstar Energy Drink is presenting the show and Mtv favorite, Bam Margera, is a huge fan of these bands.

Cradle of filth was established in 1991 and is best known for their gothic heavy metal sound influenced by poetry, mythology and literature. (Wikipedia.org) They will be releasing their eighth studio album next year so be sure to catch that!

This 22-year-old band GWAR has established themselves as obscene and raunchy rockers due to their outrageous stunts on stage. According to Wikipedia.org they even sometimes spray their audience with blood, urine, and pus. I'm not too sure I'd be interested in yellow rain, if ya know what I mean.

The third act, CKY, has been seen in various "Jackass" episodes as well as "Viva La Bam." Actually, drummer Jess Margera is Bam Margera's brother hence the reason why CKY has been used in practically each of his shows. (Wikipedia.org)

Finally, Swedes turned LA rockers, Vains of Jenna are the youngest band on this tour. Only forming in 2005, Lizzy DeVine, JP White, Jacki Stone and Nicki Kin have come together to show that hair bands can still rock. According to Wikipedia, Vains of Jenna has said that, "there is too much 'emo music' in the USA, and that their music is here to make you want to drink and party." Long live rock and roll!

Check out LiveNation to get your tickets. Make sure to dress comfortably too as Revolution is standing room only!
