If you want to see a local then you MUST get to Delray Beach this Saturday, September 22nd to see Dashboard Confessional. Chris Carrabba is the singer/songwriter behind the name and has a way with words that can melt anyone's soul. Carrabba is originally from Boca Raton, Florida but has experienced growing success through the years including his song "Vindicated" being a part of the Spiderman soundtrack. Most people may assume the type of music he produces (which some people categorize as emo) is geared towards college students however, if you enjoy light rock with powerful messages you just might enjoy Dashboard.
Playing before Dashboard Confessional takes the stage is John Ralston who is actually a local as well. He hails from Lake Worth, Florida which took be by surprise considering I live there. In any matter, John Ralston will captivate you with his take on Indie music. Ralston is a great way to open your mind before seeing Dashboard!
