From Indie to just IN: Interpol

If you enjoy new alternative with a twist, you just might enjoy Interpol. This quad is a mix of intellect and wit hailing from the Big Apple and consists of lead singer Paul Banks, guitarist Daniel Kessler, bassist and keyboardist Carlos Dengler and drummer Sam Fogarino.

After meeting at New York University they began playing local gigs as an unnamed band. But after becoming increasingly popular they adopted the name Interpol. Although not as well known as other post-punk revivalists Joy Division or The Chameleons they have continued to gain popularity with each albums release.

Interpol will be playing Wednesday, September 19th at the BankUnited Center in Coral Gables, Florida along with Liars. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the show begins at 7:30 p.m. With tickets only costing $28.50 you don't want to be the one to miss this upcoming clever band.

Directions to the BankUnited Center:
